Community Activities

Getting together with friends and neighbours is a vital part of happy, healthy communities. At Cotswold Friends we support lots of local groups including Lunch Clubs, Knit and Natter, Men-in-Sheds, Community Singing, Walking Football, Walking Netball and Gentle Walking. All of Cotswold Friends’ Community Activities have been risk-assessed to ensure they are COVID secure. Our Activities Newsletter is being delivered to over 1,500 clients and to all of our volunteers and is full of ideas and activities for keeping active from home. Click here to take a look. We are also continuing the Book Lending and Jigsaw Lending Clubs, which are proving very popular. Click through to find out more about the Jigsaw Club and the Book Club. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

NEW We are starting new Community Day Clubs in Bourton on the Water and Moreton. If you would like to get together with others for a chat and a cuppa, or to join in with a programme of social activities, please do come along. If you are a carer, we can support the person you care for to attend the group while you take a break – or you can come along together. The Bourton Day Club will run on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 10.30am until 2.30pm at The Lounge, Market Close, GL54 2HE. The Moreton Day Club will run on the third Thursday of the month at Jameson Court, Moreton-in-Marsh, GL56 0EW. All day with lunch costs £4.50, am or pm with refreshments costs £1.00.
