A Fantastic Start to 2026 – Welcoming 12 New Volunteer Sign-ups
As we reach the middle of February, we’re delighted to share some wonderful news — 12 new volunteers have signed up to volunteer since the start of the year.
That’s nearly two new volunteers every week, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Each new sign-up represents someone choosing to give their time, energy and compassion to support people across the North Cotswolds and Cirencester. Whether they’ll be helping with transport, befriending, community activities, behind-the-scenes administration or supporting fundraising and marketing, every role plays a part in reducing loneliness and strengthening independence.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. They are the friendly face at the door, the reassuring voice at the end of the phone, the safe lift to a vital appointment, and the steady presence that helps someone feel connected to their community.
To see so many people stepping forward at the very start of 2026 gives us real momentum for the year ahead. It reflects the strength of community spirit locally and the shared desire to make a difference.
To each and every new volunteer — thank you. We’re so pleased to have you as part of the team, and we look forward to the impact we’ll create together in the months ahead.
If you’ve been considering volunteering, there’s never been a better time to join us.
Here’s to building an even stronger, more connected community in 2026.
