A Great Volunteers Morning At Cotswold Friends

We had a really good turn out at the Volunteers morning on the 6th October

Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation. They freely offer their time to help others and this is what enables our organisation to offer the variety and depth of services we do.

Our coffee mornings are held on the first Tuesday of each month from 10:30 - 12:00 at The Library, Stow Road, Moreton in Marsh.

Plenty of cake and conversation at the Volunteers Morning This was our first coffee morning in quite a while as we’ve all been so busy with extending our services and adding new ones like the pilot for Dementia Day Care that we’re doing in affiliation with Chipping Campden Community Trust and Mill House.

We had a sterling turn out with around 40 people popping in for coffee and cake including Jenni Turner, Editor of Cotswold Times, some of our Trustees, our much revered transport volunteers and those who help us with befriending and carer respite services.

Bob, came in to tell us more abut what has been happening on our Stow on the Wold ‘Men in Sheds’ project and we met a few new volunteers who are currently going through the application process.
