Project Manager for the Community Activities Programme (CAP)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Community Activities Programme (CAP) Manager. The CAP Service supports older and vulnerable people to meet up and socialise at a variety of activities and last year delivered 7000 attendances across the programme. Regular groups include Lunch Clubs, Men-in-Sheds, Community Singing, Knit & Natter, Friendship Cafes, a Community Garden, Walking Sports and more.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic CAP Manager to drive the programme forward, championing the mental and physical health benefits provided. In your role you will focus on the continued development of the programme, growing attendance, and developing new activities and initiatives to maximise the benefits for those attending. You will manage two staff team members - a Community Activities Project Worker and a Men in Sheds Project Worker. You will also work with and support over 60 fantastic CAP volunteers, who are out and about delivering CAP activities each month.

Key skills and experience required

• The drive, enthusiasm and creativity to ensure the Community Activities Programme grows and thrives • A genuine desire for a role that will make a positive difference to people’s lives • Experience of running community-based activities or similar • An understanding of the needs of older and vulnerable people • A minimum of two years’ experience in a line management role, including development and delivery of strategic plans • Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and COSHH • Excellent communication and people skills to engage with clients, volunteers, team members and other stakeholders • Ability to multi-task to manage a wide range of CAP service offerings • Ability to adapt plans, manage change and problem solve • Excellent IT skills to include data analysis and reporting • Own car for regular travel to visit activities

Key role responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the Community Activities Programme, including two Project Workers and a team of CAP volunteers • Development, management and delivery of strategic plans including new initiatives for programme growth and maximising attendance at current activities • Reviewing, monitoring and managing Health & Safety and Risk Assessments to ensure the safety of volunteers and clients across all activities • Ensuring effective processes and procedures are in place for the smooth and safe running of all activities • Monitoring attendance and producing up to date service statistics and reports

Volunteer Programme Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Volunteer Programme Manager. Our 340+ volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation, and we couldn’t deliver our services without them. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic manager to drive the Volunteering Programme forward, ensuring volunteering is a positive and rewarding experience for all. In your role you will work to deliver training, support and events for our volunteers. You will also develop initiatives to attract and recruit new volunteers to the Charity. You will directly manage one team member - our Volunteer & Young Friends Administrator - who will support you in your role. You will collaborate widely with the staff team to ensure volunteering needs are met.

· Managing and developing volunteer feedback mechanisms to listen to our volunteers, through initiatives such as the Volunteer Steering Group and evaluations

· Ensuring effective processes and procedures are in place for the smooth running of the programme

· Ongoing programme monitoring to include development of statistics and reports

· Working to maintain our Investors in Volunteers Accreditation

Marketing Manager

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop the Marketing function for an established and well-respected local charity. As the Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and be supported by a Marketing Co-ordinator working 12 hours per week and a team of Marketing volunteers. Your role will involve:

Development and implementation of Marketing strategy and plans, informed by research and data analysis, to support the charity in the achievement of short and long-term objectives Development and implementation of campaign strategy and plans, to contribute to volunteer and client recruitment, charity and service awareness and funding. Specifically, you will manage:

· Brand development and awareness

· Cotswold Friends website content

· Regular newsletter production

· Social media campaigns and channels

· Development and distribution of press releases to key target press

· Design and production of print materials (leaflets and posters) for both volunteer recruitment and service promotion

· Charity mailings

· Print distribution to ensure effective area coverage

· Production of marketing and communication materials for events

· Production of film and photography

· Events management

· Delegation of Marketing support work to a team of Marketing volunteers

· Stakeholder communications

· Ongoing development of in-house materials to support volunteers and clients

The successful candidate will:

· Hold a Marketing qualification and have at least 2 years of management experience in a Marketing role

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Have good knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher and Outlook

· Have previous experience designing and implementing surveys through tools such as Survey Monkey

· Have previous experience with design packages such as Canva

· Have previous experience managing databases and email campaigns using tools such as Mailchimp

· Be familiar with website Content Management Systems

· Be proficient in the development and management of social media campaigns

· Be able to provide evidence of involvement in Marketing plans and campaigns that demonstrate Marketing skills and knowledge
